About the consultant

With over 25 years of experience as an academic in Statistics and Data Science in Australia (the University of Newcastle, Flinders University, Curtin University, the University of Western Australia), I am excited to channel my passion into establishing my own consulting freelance unit based in my hometown, Makassar, Indonesia. Annually, I will only take on 2-3 statistical and data science consulting projects worldwide and deliver around three face-to-face workshops or short courses in Makassar or any other places in Indonesia.

Currently, I am an adjunct academic at the University of Western Australia (UWA), where my research collaborations focus on advancing nonlinear time series analysis and Bayesian modelling by integrating statistical and deep learning methodologies.

Additionally, I serve as an adjunct academic staff in Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) in Makassar, contributing to the launch of the 2025/2026 Master’s Data Science program.

I am committed to supporting any Indonesian individuals, universities or companies in developing Data Science programs or projects. I welcome opportunities to contribute to this field across the country.
